Tauranga Review: Yard Reports Prudentia Fine
Race report from the Evolution Stables stable

Prudentia finished sixth in Race 7 at Tauranga on Saturday, 27 June, on ground that turned puggier through the card. From barrier 1, she jumped cleanly with Masa Hashizume in the saddle.
Rocking won by 0.89 lengths; Prudentia crossed the line 4.59 lengths back in sixth. The card began on Heavy 10 footing, but as the afternoon wore on the surface grew stickier — a very different proposition from the looser ground on which she broke her maiden at the same track last May. Masa stayed on the rail where the winners were coming from, yet it proved a day when ground was hard to make.
She tried really hard — but today she just found that ground a little bit too testing. It was really holding. What she won here last time was pretty loose. — Andrew Scott, Wexford Stables
Masa reported that every time she tried to stretch, she got stuck in the mud. Andrew Scott confirms she had a blow post-race, though the effort will do her good. Kyle Bax reports she is fine this evening. If she has a good week, the yard will look to back her up the following Saturday at Te Rapa over 1400m, a track she has already won on.
