Jumping cleanly from Barrier 1, she was immediately positioned on the fence. As the field bunched around the bend, she became pocketed along the rail, leaving her with nowhere to stretch her stride. She traveled comfortably but spent the straight held up behind a wall of horses, only finding a sliver of daylight in the final 100 meters. Once clear, she surged through the line with impressive late speed to finish fifth.
This morning, 2 June, the Wexford yard conducted a comprehensive post-race assessment. Trainers Lance O'Sullivan and Andrew Scott report that she has trotted up 100% soundly. An endoscopy scoped completely clean, showing clear airways, and she has fully cleared her feed box. Because she was so heavily held up, she didn't get to have a hard run and comes out of the weekend in peak fitness.
